That Manc LC game was definitely up with the best, that Israeli fella kicking Bebe into orbit, couple of goals from Johnny Specs and Carlton Cole, all in a blizzard

Which one? The first one?

Was great, Johnson.

For me though, I'd say the Ipswich playoff game. The place was fucking ROCKING.

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
Worse was Stoke at home in the Championship. We lost 1.0 and was the small crowed.

Best - without doubt Bolton at home when we just stayed up 3.0 and we looked like Barca. Great day and it was the 1st time I got beered up with my old man before the game. We were both smashed.

Mancs 4-0 in the league cup has to be up there as one of the best.

Fortress DUKE was absolutely rocking afterwards, we would have stayed in there all night had Shirley let us.

Worst was the 3-4 vs Tottenham. Paul fucking Stalteri.

Sat with QPR mate as we were humiliated 0-4 back in about 92.

Longest 90 mins of my life that as he sat there sniggering

Yeah just looked Egg, 3-0 down in 22 minutes and then Ashley Cole scored to rub salt into the wounds

Always sticks in the memory as its the only time ive ever seen a conga happen in the upper tier. It was that bad and empty 10 mins into the second half

I nearly put that as worst rossal

Lampard got sent off after about half hour but it was still like men against boys even when we had a man advantage

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
Best

4-1 v Millwall or the 4-0 vs United in the cup

Worst

4-0 v Chelsea years ago when we seemed to be 3 down in 15 mins

97/98 season that 3-0 Home win Vs Leeds, mashed son... Was on Sky as well...

The 5-1 loss Vs Leeds in 98/99 was one of the most angriest I've been after a game as the referee fucking ruined it... Ian Hart got away with murder... At least two of their goals shouldn't have stood because of fouls in the lead-up to them... Still, we played superbly well with 8 men...

Some Leeds fan got the absolute shit kicked out of him in the BML that day... To be fair, he was still giving it as he was escorted out with claret all over his boat race as he was staggering all over the shop... His hooter was proper smashed in as well... Looked a right state...

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
worst - Luton semi final 0-3, or a 4-0 that could have been 10 against QPR in about 93-94

best - Ipswich x 2 (86 and play off)

Yea we were very lucky that playoff season. I'd given up as had most by the Watford game as we'd been shit all season. Luckily we found form in the play offs

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
I've been a bit of a DRUID on here tonight with all the reminiscing about shit games/results!...

Still, keeping to subject: I remember feeling fucking absolutely despaired when we lost 2-1 at Home to Sunderland right towards the end of 04/05 in the Championship... Sunderland went-up with the win and it looked like it was curtains for us to even make the Play-Offs...

I gave-up on any hopes... Couldn't bare the thought of a third successive year in the Championship and the likelihood of more player sales like Harewood and Etherington who were two of our better players down there and maybe could've got moves to lowly Premiership sides...

Thankfully, Wolves (who had nothing to play for) won at Reading and a win Away to Watford secured our Play-Off spot - and, thankfully, we went on to win it...

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
Losing to Wigan at home one winter when it was fucking BALTIC out and half the ground fucked off after about an hour.

We stayed till the end in the BML singing and generally fucking about to keep warm.

Going to miss stuff like that the most I think.

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
98/99 season that 4-3 loss at Home to Wimbledon when we were 3-0 up... Bit of a shitter, that, but we finished the season in 5th-place... That's the most competitive season I've ever witnessed from us...

I think some of the worst games for me have been embarrassing defeats in the FA Cup and League Cup to lower-league opposition...

There's been plenty of those kind of results since I've been going from the early-90s onwards... We've been a bit of a joke in the Cups from that period until now, in truth... Decent cup-runs in that time have been a rariety...

Worst one for me was the 1-0 loss at Home to Wrexham in 96/97 when our fans invaded the pitch at the end and protested against the board... We looked fucking shit and didn't appear to have a hope in hell of staying-up...

Iain Dowie, Mike Newell and Steve Jones were our embarrassing striker/forward options... Thank fuck Johnny Harrison and Paul Kitson rocked-up a few weeks later after this embarrassing cup exit... Saved our bacon...

Re: Upton Park. Your best and worst games.
The 4-0 dicking from Everton when Ilic made his only appearance for us in goal sticks out as a bad game
